windows hello face recognition + the front camera turning on randomly?
my surface computer's windows hello face recognition & front camera used to light up together n randomly. i ran norton everytime but it never said there was virus for more than a half year. and i went to a physical microsoft shop to scan virus and got no malware result either. I still reset my computer and now there is no problem. should i worry that there was a computer virus on my computer all along?

- Hi,
if you took your surface to a Microsoft physical shop and they made sure there is no virus after scanning it, then it's safe to say that there was no virus and just a configuration error somewhere in a software.
just make sure to always use up to date OS, right now the latest versions of Windows 10 is 20H2.

and also go to Windows Security (aka Windows Defender). turn on the security features such as core isolation in memory integrity, reputation-based protection and controlled folder access in ransomware protection section. you can also run a full scan or offline scan to make sure you are totally safe 🙂
