Compliance support for password complexity with special characters on MS desktop accounts

I was in contact with the MS support regarding a compliance issue with password requirements. The fact the comibation with digits, lowercase, uppercase and special characters is not supported on Desktop Microsoft Accounts is a big problem and a security hole in itself. The technicians are therefore forced to lower the requirements and further lower the security bases for the platform users. In this case its a cloud only customer and they have no option to force higher requirements on local servers and infrastructure.
