Windows 10, version 1803 (also referred to as the Windows 10 April 2018 Update) is now available to Volume License customers through the Volume Licensing Service Center, and is rolling out globally through Windows Update. In addition to new features and enhancements for IT pros, we have also updated or released new versions of the tools you need to more easily deploy this update and securely manage your devices. Here is a quick recap:
- Windows Analytics Upgrade Readiness now features Windows 10, version 1803 as a target version:
- Administrative Templates (.admx) for Windows 10, version 1803 – Manage registry-based policy settings by using these administrative template files to populate policy settings in the UI of your favorite Group Policy management tool.
- Security baseline for Windows 10, version 1803 – Offers importable GPOs, scripts for applying GPOs to local policy, customer ADMX files, and all recommended settings in spreadsheet form and as a Policy Analyzer file.
- Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 10, version 1803 – Provides tools to help you customize Windows images for large-scale deployments and to help you test the quality and performance of your systems, added components, and applications running on those systems.
- Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 10 – Lets you manage Windows Server from a remote computer running Windows 10.
