Important: Test Base for Microsoft 365 will transition to end-of-life (EOL) on May 31, 2024. We're committed to working closely with Test Base customers to provide support and guidance to make the transition as smooth as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, or need assistance, please submit a support request.

We know the importance of testing your applications across a variety of architectures and device types. That is why we are excited to announce that have added support for Arm64 to Test Base for Microsoft 365! This expands the existing testing matrix in Test Base and makes it even easier for you to ensure your applications will work across a broader range of devices and releases. Let’s take a closer look at how this feature works!

To get started, all you need to do is onboard your Arm application to Test Base and select an Arm64 release when configuring your test matrix.

Once you’ve done this, your app will automatically be tested against the new Windows 11 client Arm64 releases that you have selected and you’ll receive notifications anytime there’s a test failure. This can help you debug issues and ensure your apps work on Arm devices.

Note: There are differences between testing your applications on physical devices versus virtual machines, so we recommend testing on both to ensure the best possible experience.

To use this new feature, sign up for the Arm private preview today!
