At last year’s Microsoft Ignite conference, we provided the first look at Windows Virtual Desktop. Now that Windows Virtual Desktop is generally available, this year’s sessions go deeper into specific capabilities of the service and provide guidance on how to best take advantage of these capabilities in your environment. Here’s the rundown of featured sessions and activities for Windows Virtual Desktop at Microsoft Ignite 2019.

Breakout, theater sessions, and hands-on workshops

Can’t attend a session live?

All our Windows Virtual desktop breakout and theater sessions will be streamed live—and available on demand after the event. Simply visit MyIgnite and sign in with the account you used to register for the event to browse the session catalog and attend any session virtually. Can’t attend in person this year? Not a problem, visit MyIgnite and sign in with your Tech Community account to access daily live streams plus a pre-show and end-of-day wrap-ups.

Ask the experts

In addition to breakout and theater sessions, we have a dedicated booth for Windows Virtual Desktop in the Windows 10 + Office 365 neighborhood (#29) of The Hub. Our engineers and product managers will be standing by to answer your questions and listen to your feedback throughout the conference.. You can also stop by the neighboring Deployment Central booth for dedicated Expert Q&A “hours” on the following topics:

  • Windows Virtual Desktop and MSIX app attach – Thursday, November 7, 4:00-4:45pm

Win big prizes

This one is only for those who are onsite at the conference. Attend select sessions for your chance to win a Surface Pro 6!

@lucalupi91 - Hands-on workshops were not recorded; however, Jon Federico and Pavithra Thiruvengadam went over this in their breakout session: https://myignite.techcommunity.microsoft.com/sessions/81954.
