WINDOWS 11 - TEXT SIZES DIFFERENT IN VARIOUS PLACES

Copper Contributor

Hi,

Windows 11 - text sizes are impossible. Some context menus text is so small one cannot read w/ magnifying glass.  In other areas, text is so large takes up most of the window.

Trying different things which aren't working.

Thought the point of windows is integration; I'd get more done using a calculator, and typewriter separately!

Thank You in advance.

Hi, check out this information that should help.

Make Windows easier to see - Microsoft Support

@A1 ,

Thanx for reply! I've tried the fixes - they all seem to cause problems in another area. EG, right now the context menuS are illegible. same for dialogue boxes. This current disaster {tiny text} seemed to occur spontaneously this AM.

Thanx again for the directions.

I must try something else - please advise

Advanced Windows scaling settings, I think this is a good idea because it has a direct impact on context, dialogs, etc.

You have to manually enter From 115% to a maximum of 145%, too high magnification is also a problem. then log out to make the changes :)

" To scale up everything on your screen, select the Start button, then select Settings > System > Display, and change the Scale drop-down menu under Scale & Layout "

Didn't yet -

And the range on mine is 100-500
Which apps to use?
I will try,
Thanx

yes, but 115%-145%, that's my suggestion,

It works on most apps.
