Windows 11 Task bar and no search fixed
After 11 previous tries to install windows 11
and tried at least 10 fixes to solve defunct taskbar and no search or strat menu action.
I created another user with admin authorisation and rejoined the Windows insider program as a Beta channel insider under this new alias.
Windows update gave me the option of build 22000.160 which I had tried before and failed but I persevered and installed this build.
Windows 11 start menu, windows 11 taskbar fuctionality and search worked build 22000.160
I the re-logged in under my previous user account.
Still had windows 11 but with a windows 10 taskbar.
Under this user account Windows update gave me KB5005642 which I installed.
Restarting after the intall had finished and I now had full windows 11 functionality with a functioning windows 11 taskbar. Now ion build 22000.184
I then deleted the user account and data for the temporary user.
