Windows 11 multi-monitor taskbar issue
Mine is a Surface Book 3 connected to external dock; the large external display is primary and works fine, while the Book's display acts and second monitor and has the taskbar issue.
Since the laptop is new as well as Win 11 I'm not sure which of these is causing another issue: When using Zoom (with multi-monitor option) if someone else is screen sharing the SB3 fan goes wild and CPU is really high. I didn't have this on my previous, much lower powered Dell with Win 10.
Maybe SB3 is set to a higher screen-sharing resolution? (Increases GPU/CPU utilization)
Check Security settings to ensure ZOOM or the screen sharing component isn't being actively scanned for threats while running?
(Please "Like" my response if it helps at all)

Teligence1970 i have the same issues as all are reporting however i also experience different problems related to the taskbar. I have 3 monitors , the auto hide was doing as everyone stated so i figured for now i would just show task bar on all monitors. On my 3rd monitor it randomly disappears , like a blank space below the window where it should be but you can't get it to re populate, only fix then is same as before go deselect show on all monitors in taskbar settings and re select then its fixed again temporarily. I also have another issue mainly on my third monitor where the window will open like it's full screen even though i didn't make it full screen and it covers the task bar, i have to minimize the window, then go into task bar settings and uncheck show on all monitors , maximize the window again and the back to task bar settings and re select show on all monitors. It's like you can't win for losing and i really wish they would address this.
