Windows 11 Microsoft Edge opened automatically after system update
After my Windows 11 updated, Edge launched by itself, which never happened before. Startup launch is already disabled. Is this normal? How can I stop it?

Recent Windows 11 updates (including the April 2026 Patch Tuesday update) introduced a change where Edge automatically launches after the first reboot following an update. This isn't a bug—it appears to be intentional on Microsoft's part to promote Edge and guide users through new features.
