updating takes hours

when updating windows 10 insider program it is taking 5/6 hours .any ideas.

i'm new to forums so bear with me please. thanks

    Hi, are you writing about this version of Windows: 19044.1741 ?
    There is no longer Windows10 (Beta, Dev.) only RP channel or do you have the switch set up like this?

      19044.1739 is current update 4 hour 30 mins 66% installed . do i need to change something.

        This is an earlier update, but not everyone is updated at the same time. but it was a quick update, so you have some problem with Windows.

        Do you delete earlier versions of Windows manually?

      cumulative update preview for windows 10 version 21h2 for x64-based systems (kb 5014023) is updating now it has been 4 hours 30 mins and still only at 66% install

        sorry didn't reply right. 19044.1739 is current. do i need to change something ?
