Uninstalling games from the Xbox app doesn't remove game shortcut from desktop

I had the same problem. This worked for me.
- Press the Windows key, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Under Apps & features, locate the Xbox app.
- Click the Xbox app, then select Advanced options.
- Click Reset.
That doesn't help it, this happens on new Windows 10 and Windows 11 Dev installations, that means I reset the entire OS, not just the app, and still the problem exists.
