Regarding windows 11 update

when I am trying to update to windows 11 it says " your files apps and settings cant be kept because your current version of windows might be installed in an unsupported directory or you are trying to install an older version of windows" how can I fix it??

First, download the updates in the Microsoft Store , restart the computer, then download the Windows Update Assistant and let it prepare the components, for a new installation - you need to have 30G of free space in the C drive, leave the computer in power.

Yes, but you need to sign in to the Microsoft Store with your personal Microsoft account on this PC

What version of Windows are you using?
Are you running the installation file from inside the Windows?
