1.Check Compatibility:
Confirm that any driver you are attempting to install explicitly supports Windows Server 2025.
2.Use Device Manager:
Right-click on the Start button > Device Manager > Find your display adapter, right-click it and select "Update driver." Choose "Browse my computer for drivers" and point it to the location where you downloaded the driver.
3.Run as Administrator:
Ensure you run the installation executable with administrative privileges. Right-click on the installer and select "Run as administrator."
4.Uninstall Previous Drivers:
If you have tried installing different drivers, it may help to uninstall the previous ones first. Go to Device Manager, right-click on the display adapter, and choose "Uninstall device."
5.Check for Windows Updates:
Make sure your system is fully updated, as certain Windows Server updates might address PM compatibility issues.
6.Use Compatibility Mode:
If you are using a driver intended for an older version of Windows, try running the installer in compatibility mode. Right-click the setup file, go to Properties > Compatibility, and select an earlier version of Windows.
7.Windows Features:
Ensure that any relevant Windows Features are enabled (like the Remote Desktop feature if applicable), which may impact driver functionality.
