num lock not working

When using Excel my num lock key on my keypad does not work.  I've attempted to hit the key numerous times to ensure it is on - to no avail.

I followed the instructions and ran the troubleshooting for keyboard.  It completed with no errors or updates found.  I'm still having the problem.
