I also installed a graphics card before booting up,would it make any difference if i took it back out and tried to boot up?

There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with your new PC not booting. Here is a approach:

    1. BIOS Settings
    • Boot Order: Ensure the correct drive or USB is set as the first boot device.
    • UEFI vs. Legacy: Check if your BIOS is set to boot in UEFI mode or Legacy mode. This should match the mode used when the OS was installed.
    • If the drives were set up using UEFI, make sure the BIOS is in UEFI mode.
    • If the drives were set up using Legacy (BIOS) mode, make sure the BIOS is set to Legacy mode.
    1. Repair Windows Boot
    • Windows Installation Media: Use a Windows installation USB to attempt a repair.
      1. Boot from the Windows installation USB.
      2. Select your language preferences, and then click Next.
      3. Click Repair your computer in the lower left corner.
      4. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
      5. Follow the prompts to repair your installation.

    Detailed Steps for Clean Installation

    1. Create a Bootable USB Drive:
    1. Boot from USB:
    • Insert the USB drive into the new PC.
    • Restart the PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing a key like F2, F12, DEL, or ESC during startup).
    • Set the USB drive as the first boot device.
    1. Install Windows:
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows.
    • Choose the custom installation option to select the drive where Windows will be installed.

    Additional Troubleshooting Tips

    • Reset BIOS/UEFI to Defaults: Sometimes resetting the BIOS to its default settings can resolve boot issues.
    • Update BIOS: If a newer version of the BIOS is available, updating it might help with compatibility issues.

If problems persist, there might be a hardware fault, and seeking assistance from a professional or the retailer where you purchased the PC might be necessary.
