Ensure all your hardware drivers are up to date, especially graphics, network, and chipset drivers.

The error code 0xc1900101 during Windows installation or upgrade is a common and often complex issue. It typically indicates a driver or hardware compatibility problem that prevents Windows from completing the installation successfully. Since you've already tried uninstalling antivirus, disconnecting USB devices, and performing an in-place upgrade,

  • Can you pls share, what is the error message you got along with code 0xc1900101?

0xc1900101 usually indicate conflict with external devices, try disconnecting them.

Also, can you try performing the update in clean boot state.

As you've already tried, uninstalling the antivirus software may resolve the issue.
