How do I fix an abnormal screen and system freeze during Windows 11 startup?

After starting up, Win11 always enters an abnormal interface (e.g., blue screen/BIOS) and sometimes freezes or restarts. How can this be investigated?

"I had a similar issue where my Windows 11 system would freeze on startup with a weird screen. In my case, booting into Safe Mode helped first, then I updated the graphics driver and removed a recently installed app that was causing conflict. You can also try running Startup Repair or checking for corrupted system files using built-in tools. Sometimes it’s just a driver or update issue, and once that’s fixed, the system boots normally again."

This usually indicates a boot, hardware, or driver problem. Try these quick checks:

Enter BIOS and confirm your SSD/HDD is detected and set as the first boot device.

If you see a blue screen, note the error code it often points to faulty drivers or RAM issues.

Run Windows Startup Repair (Advanced Startup → Troubleshoot → Startup Repair).

Check hardware connections (SSD and RAM) and reseat them if possible.

Update BIOS and system drivers once Windows loads normally.

If it keeps entering BIOS or freezing the storage drive or memory may be failing.

I would try to put in a temporary new HD, and see if the problem is still there right after reinstalling a new copy of Windows. This would help you determine if you have a HW or SW issue... Maybe your RAM is the issue, you could try moving the RAM sticks around or running with individual ones to see if that affects the behavior you describe.

Also, you might want to check out the Reliability logs, (Search for it in the search bar) and see if it gives you details about the failures
