Do USB fingerprint readers work on Windows Insider builds

I have an HP laptop running Windows 10 Home without a built-in fingerprint sensor, and the camera doesn't support Windows Hello, so I use a USB fingerprint sensor with it. I know these don't work on Windows 10 Education or Enterprise, but I'm not sure about Windows Insider builds. I'd like to put this computer on Dev channel if possible, but I won't do that if my fingerprint sensor won't work then. Does anyone know if USB fingerprint sensors work in Insider builds, particularly in the Dev channel, thanks.

They will work if their driver is compatible, that's literally the only reason a hardware might not work in an insider build, but works in stable build. it's rare.
