There is a way to fix it. You can go to settings and then recovery. Then press o back to an earlier version and you will go to the version right before this bugged one. Until Microsoft fixes this bug.
Yes, I did that and my laptop brightness buttons are working again, To prevent Windows to install again the update that causes this issue I went to settings and paused the updates for 3 weeks, to give time Microsoft to fix the bug before I have to install again the update.
