Agree! Had no issues installing and using this build so far.
Unfortunately, the anti-cheat issue remains:
"There has been an issue with older versions of anti-cheat software used with games where after updating to the latest 19H1 Insider Preview builds may cause PCs to experience crashes. We are working with partners on getting their software updated with a fix, and most games have released patches to prevent PCs from experiencing this issue. To minimize the chance of running into this issue, please make sure you are running the latest version of your games before attempting to update the operating system. We are also working with anti-cheat and game developers to resolve similar issues that may arise with the 20H1 Insider Preview builds and will work to minimize the likelihood of these issues in the future. The problem is inside the message too.
they are still talking about build 19H1 which got out of insider channel a month ago and has No problem with any anti cheat. Battle Eye, EAC, VAC all work fine. it's not surprising at all though, after all it's a generally available build so it should be flawless.
but looks like Insider team don't know that.
another strange thing is that when the problem was solved in 19H1 (by anti cheat devs releasing updated version of their tools to be compatible with the new underlying changes in the Window OS), the problem still remains in 20H1, the current Insider channel.
what's strange about that? well Microsoft did change something in 19H1 that made those anti cheats incompatible, that was just once and anti cheat devs updated their tools afterwards and problem solved. BUT, apparently Microsoft went on and yet changed something else, again, that rendered those anti cheats incompatible all over again. AND there is no word about this hidden change anywhere.
could you explain about it please?
