Overdue task reminder workflow error

When I configure a reminder for a task I can see the reminder popping up on my Android phone. But many times I cannot instantly work on that task but have to postpone it for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately when I switch to the task the reminder is gone and will never come up again.

So, is there anything planned like getting reminders like the ones in Outlook on desktop machines? There you get the chance of getting reminders over and over again until closing it.
