pdestefanis Windows Autopatch is a managed service. The configurations that we deploy can be deployed by organizations IT departments. For those organizations looking to offload that patch workload, reporting and associated administrivia... Windows Autopatch is an ideal way to remove the day-to-day and ongoing administrative burden for Windows clients. Same Question here, sorry. I still don't see the difference. I have all my rings set up in intune with dynamic groups. For me it's hard to explain benefit of windows autopatch / vs intune rings. Is there a plan to make clients slowly move from intune rings to autopatch and decommission intune rings at one point ?

Cyrol75 In my case, I found that Autopatch did not save me much time, as my update rings were already similar to Autopatch's rings. The main benefit of Autopatch for me would be the reporting features, which are not available with update rings.

Thanks a ton for the feedback and great to hear the reports are helping! I agree, if you've already got your update rings set up then policy management aspect isn't huge since you've already done that work! The place where you're likely to see more benefit is leveraging features like Autopatch Groups to better segment and distribute your devices between different rings.
Out of curiosity, could you elaborate more on which update tasks specifically you'd see as the most beneficial for Autopatch to take on from the customer?
