What is the Growth, inclusion, and engagement report?
The Viva Insights Growth, inclusion, and engagement report provides a view of the employee lifecycle within an organization, surfacing key insights to help HR leaders support, engage, and retain talent throughout the employee journey.
Analyze a multitude of workforce and talent management use cases including career advancement or analyses aimed at engaging workers in different regions, roles, work modes or contract types. Users can pivot these insights by any available attribute, allowing a focused examination of specific cohorts, enhancing the understanding of intersectionality within the employee experience.

Use this report to address five key questions about the experience of different cohorts in your organization:
- Attract talent: What attributes does the new talent pool bring compared to the current workforce?
- Onboard new hires: Are new hires growing their networks and getting the manager support they need?
- Develop and grow: Do employees receive enough manager coaching and visibility to leadership?
- Promote career advancement: Are all cohort groups well-represented among leadership?
- Boost engagement: What are potential drivers of engagement for different cohorts in the organization?

Guided setup experience
The Growth, inclusion, and engagement report includes a guided set up to help analysts define groupings, filters, and highlight specific cohort groups.
Report users can pivot the insights in this report by multiple organizational attributes, allowing the user to explore intersectionality. The user can also select a “spotlight group” to highlight insights for a cohort group of interest. This is especially helpful for customers with an ingoing hypothesis in mind, e.g. “We want to better support, engage and integrate contingent workers into the organization”. The spotlight attribute in this case may be “contract type” and the spotlight group “contingent workers”.
