- EszterDebCopper ContributorThanks it was great! Looking forward to these sessions in the future 🙂
- Shohel-RanaBrass ContributorAutosave on the Viva Amplify campaign page is useful, but it saves too frequently (every 3-5 seconds) which can be bothersome. Can we decrease the autosave frequency?
- JM_Lamont_HendersonCopper ContributorThis question is from our Corp Comm team - Is it recommended to build out campaigns for the year to make it easier on the platform and comms teams?
- EszterDebCopper ContributorWill this video available after the event? We - Hybridge Consulting - are new Viva Resellers from CEE and would like to learn as much as we can. I will be the Viva Adoption responsible in the company. Happy to connect and get tips from you on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/eszter-debreczeni/
- EszterDebCopper ContributorThanks a lot 🙂 eager to learn. We started to organize Viva La Friday series on Linkedin - to showcase scenarios to use Viva in a very pragmatic, customer centric way. These are great inputs - we have only 30 mins and want to create appetite.

Yes! As soon as our livestream is finished, the video will be available to watch on-demand on the top of this page, as well as on YouTube.
- JM_Lamont_HendersonCopper ContributorQuestions: 1. Did I hear correctly that all users who receive communications generated using Amplify will need to be licensed for Amplify? 2. Can you speak to security roles that are needed for Corp Comm users to create communications in a campaign? We have strong Enterprise Governance policies around who can have admin roles (such as Sharepoint Admin and Group Admin)? Need to understand what is the least privilege role that would be needed by someone in Corp Comm to manage communications, and if they can do so without having the ability to create the Sharepoint sites used for campaigns.

Hey Horace, Yes, all users (including recipients) will require licenses. Though keep in mind this also gives them access to Viva Engage premium, Viva Connections premium, and Answers and allows for participation in premium capabilities like advanced analytics, AMAs, Campaigns, Leadership Corner, Multi-tenant publishing, etc. There may be some experiences and end points that users will be able to consume w/o the license but the expectation is that all users do have one. For the second part, here is a page on Amplify roles: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/amplify/viva-amplify-roles SharePoint Admins will be required to deploy Amplify, but then the user just needs to be a M365 Group Owner in order to send to that group (or an admin of a Viva Engage community to send an announcement to that community, etc.)- JM_Lamont_HendersonCopper ContributorThanks for addressing the questions. Regarding security - it sounds like the approach we are thinking of would work - our defined Sharepoint and Group Admins would create the Campaign, make users within Corp Comm the owner of the Campaign, and then they would be able to proceed forward in Amplify for developing communication-based on rights they already have. Does that sound correct?
- Shohel-RanaBrass ContributorCan you provide guidance on how to integrate Viva Amplify data with Power BI?
- Shohel-RanaBrass ContributorWe are currently testing Viva Amplify and it seems to be working as expected. However, when we publish a campaign, both the members and the approver of the campaign receive two emails in their inbox. One email is sent as an audience and the other as a member of the campaign, which is quite bothersome. Could you please advise us on how we can minimize this duplication issue?

Microsoft
This is good feedback. Right now, we send confirmation emails to both sets of stakeholders to ensure everyone is aware that it's been successfully published. We'll look at how we can minimize or simplify the stakeholder notification process in the future.
- Katleen Van TrierCopper ContributorWill Team members automatically get a notification when posting to Teams? There doesn't seem to be a way to add tagging in Amplify.
- MichaelHolste
Microsoft
Team members should receive a notification when a post is shared to that channel. More sharing methods for Teams are coming in the future as well.
- mwtillyCopper ContributorHi, Can anyone share a data architecture map for Viva Amplify? I'm aware that it creates a SharePoint site with a viva-amplify.aspx page and an associated Team. When testing with an adm account that did not have a OneDrive account, I got an error, so assume some aspects are saved in OneDrive? Also, the Outlook distribution channel - does this require the Exchange admin role and is any data (aside from the email sent) stored in Exchange, relating to Viva Amplify? The Microsoft documentation states you require a SharePoint admin role and a M365 Groups admin role to set-up. Is this also to create campaigns or just the set-up?
