Re: Notification Badges
I would uninstall and do a fresh install. I see Microsoft finally has a New Teams installer available https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-teams/download-app - I have not had this issue for a couple of weeks now. They have resolved it I believe. I've had lots of staff having lots of teams issues, so I've uninstalled their old teams and reinstalled the new one, and so far it's gone well. (but a manual process for some). I agree- Microsoft should create a "Clear Cache" option in settings. Browsers have it, why can't Teams/outlook/office etc!5.9KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Notification Badges
omoroca it came back for me. I was without the badge notification for a week or so, then one day I restarted my computer and it came back. Maybe look to see if there is an update and restart… but new teams does have it… it seems to just glitch when you first get it… or at least for some. I have a few people in my office who never had the issue. I can’t explain it!!6.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Notification Badges
It's weird, because other people in my office are not having this issue with their New Teams, they get the badge number - and it flashes saying a new message ... it's just me. My old version of teams was having an issue of requiring me to reinstall every day "download an update" everytime I restarted, Microsoft tried everything from clearing the cache, to registry edits... they had the ticket open for over a month trying to resolve my issue. New Teams works perfectly, no daily reinstall... so I closed the ticket with microsoft, only to have this start happening the very next day. argh.44KViews0likes4CommentsRe: No Contacts in Chat but Contacts in Calls
adam deltinger And still no update. The adding one contact at a time to this group is ridiculous! And then I did all that for my whole organization in Calls - but those don't show in Chat Contacts... so I now have to add them one at a time in chat too? Ugh. We should be able to add groups, it should connect to Outlook. Plus, now that I've done it for myself, for those users in our organization who are not going to sit and add contacts to their list one at a time, I have no way to do this for them (like adding a group for all) It means I'll likely have to go to each users desk and do this manually for each user. to two lists in one program, when it's already connected to 365 which knows our groups... ridiculous. I miss UserVoice!1KViews0likes0Comments
