Re: Restrict Copilot from accessing OneDrive Files.
I'm also wondering about this, especially when asking to restrict access to documents in a users OneDrive. If my Copilot can access my files in my OneDrive, which I already have access to and "own" in a sense - what is the risk? Copilot honors the permissions of documents, so why would it be a risk? Maybe I'm missing something?7KViews1like0CommentsRe: Can I use my Copilot subscription outside of Office 365?
Have you tried Copilot in Edge, from the side menu? With that Copilot you can for example reach the web and also summarize a webpage in Edge. But in general, if you have bought a Copilot for Microsoft 365-license, its main purpose is to leverage the data and information within you Microsoft 365 tenant.1.3KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Questions on Restricted SharePoint Search
johnnyhong Will users be unable to access their information with Copilot if Restricted SharePoint Search is enabled? No, if you have Enterprise Search or Restricted SharePoint Search on, either way you will be able to interact with the information you own in OneDrive, chats you are part of, emails you send and receive, calendars you have access to, etc. Introducing Restricted SharePoint Search to help you get started with Copilot for Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Community Hub1.3KViews2likes1CommentRe: Copilot CSP Licenses for EAS E5
From what I understand of this site: https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/terms/productoffering/Microsoft365/EAEAS you should be eligable for a Copilot-license, as long as you have a Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Business Premium/E3/A3/E5/A5 or Office 365 E3/A3/E5/A5 license.638Views0likes0CommentsRe: I couldn't find the Copilot icon in my M365 office
There are some requirements you need to meet to gain access to Copilot for M365. First of all, you need a Copilot license, available for $30/month. When you have this license, you should see Copilot in your Microsoft 365 environment, but there are some more reqs you need to meet. One important one is that you are on the correct update channel - Copilot is available in Current Channel and in Monthly Enterprise Channel. If you meet the two, above mentioned reqs, can you see the icon in the web-apps for M365?1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: License requirements for accessing custom built Copilot GPTs
RajaAbdullah From my understanding you only need a license to build a GPT, not to use one: "If you have a Copilot Pro subscription, you can use Copilot GPT Builder to create, edit, and publish customized Copilot GPTs. When you share your Copilot GPTs with other people by giving them your custom Copilot GPT link, they donβt need to have a Copilot Pro subscription to use your Copilot GPT. Only you can edit your Copilot GPTs, so you can share the link to your Copilot GPT without worrying about others changing or deleting it. You can also choose to stop sharing your Copilot GPTs with others." https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/microsoft-copilot-gpt-builder-overview-65499971-a502-4a96-a5c3-265cb59c012d2.5KViews1like1CommentRe: Copilot hallucinations when in smaller containers?
I agree that data quality is of essence here! I like your approach, it seems reasonable to get access to Copilot whilst getting on with the clean up of existing data! It will be almost impossible to make sure the entire environment is cleaned and ready before launching Copilot and that will most likely create frustration in the organisation. I guess this time is as good as any for smaller businesses in the wait for Microsoft to decrease the limits for Copilot, to already now get started on managing the existing data in their tenants, reviewing data access and data quality, so that when to time comes, the step will be a lot smaller and easier!3KViews2likes1CommentCopilot hallucinations when in smaller containers?
I read a lot about the general disappointment in Microsoft for not providing Copilot to smaller organizations and having a minimum seat requirement. I fully understand these arguments and reactions, since Copilot is something that we have anticipated for quite some time (or at least a year). I'm just thinking - will smaller businesses benefit as greatly from Copilot as bigger ones? We know that LLMs are only as good as our data input and that models which are not trained on enough data will start to hallucinate. Do we see a "recommended" minimum amount of exisiting data in an organizations M365-tenant to secure that Copilot does not start to hallucinate? Will smaller businesses ever reach those quantities of data so that this will not occur?Solved3.6KViews2likes3CommentsRe: Copilot for Microsoft 365
I understand that this question is mostly aimed at critizising Microsoft for not making Copilot available for smaller businesses and individuals, but I'll stil take the time to answer it literally π I think one can learn a lot from starting off by using and getting to know Bing Enterprise Chat (Copilot from December 1st). You can practice prompting and using an LLM/AGI to brainstorm around ideas, create content and summerize text. As with learning any new skill or tool, there are many places to look for knowledge. Youtube is one place where you can find informational videos on how Copilot works and https://adoption.microsoft.com/en-us/Copilot/ is another place full of resources. But for the sake of it - let's hope we will soon be able to purchase single licenses for Copilot, so that more of us can access, learn and take part of the benefits of having a Copilot π2.8KViews1like0Comments
