Re: Inking experience improvements in Edge
vygadeka More much needed improvements: To draw on a web page I need to tap 3 buttons - first the Web capture in the toolbar, then the "Full screen" option, then the "Draw" button. That's too many taps; the draw button shouldn't be necessary. The pen should just ink on PDFs and especially web captures, without needing to press a "draw" button first. Why do I need to tell Edge that I want to draw with my pen, when that's what a pen is for? I can use touch to pan. Second, pinch to zoom doesn't work properly in web captures: it zooms into the upper left corner of the web capture rather than to where I spread my finders from. Third, I would like to be able to draw ink strokes across pages in PDFs.12KViews1like0CommentsRe: Discussion - Set Aside Tabs and Warn on Close
People who want set tabs aside back, please upvote the request on the feedback portal too: Bring back the ability to set tabs aside · Community Microsoft has already stated they have an alternative planned, but maybe more upvotes will encourage them to get it done sooner.2.6KViews0likes1CommentRe: I want to be able to group app icons on Start menu - Windows 11
There is actually an option to show a search icon instead of a search box in the Windows 10 taskbar, and the search can be accessed just by typing when the start menu is open in Windows 10, even though there is no search box displayed - so Windows 10 does give you quick access to search from the Windows key as well. So there are absolutely no improvements in the start menu and taskbar in Windows 11 - just fewer options.14KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Top Feedback Summary for September
MissyQ Are there any plans to add the option to block/disable autoplay rather than just limit it, as in Edge Legacy? The "Limit" option is not sufficient because it decides to enable autoplay for sites where I manually play videos many times, which is not what I want. I don't want Edge to decide when it should enable autoplay; I want it to be disabled unless I enable it manually. Also, I think your approach of considering issues addressed when you see a drop in incoming feedback is flawed. Why would you assume that people are happy if they don't resubmit the same feedback over and over? I only submit feedback about each issue once. I guess I should start submitting it many times until it's resolved.10KViews4likes0CommentsRe: Top Feedback Summary for September
For me the issue is that the "Limit" option decides to enable autoplay on sites where I have manually played videos many times, and then I can't turn off autoplay on those sites anymore. I don't want Edge to decide which sites can and which can't autoplay. I want autoplay to be disabled unless I manually enable it.10KViews5likes0CommentsRe: Windows 11 Start and Taskbar feedback

David_Bradette It's better to upvote and comment on existing feedback. That will make it more obvious if there are many people who want this and make it more likely to appear as trending. Here's one suggestion: https://aka.ms/AAd4tve If you know of any more please share the links.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: I want to be able to group app icons on Start menu - Windows 11
HotCakeX I get a message saying my account does not have access to this feedback. I guess it's because that's for Insiders only, or it might be accessible only to people in your region. However, I submitted feedback about this too, here: https://aka.ms/AAd4tve Please upvote this too.25KViews3likes0CommentsRe: Top Feedback Summary for August 24
MissyQ Edge Legacy could show a persistent preview of all tabs in addition to showing the previews when hovering over the tabs, so I don't consider "Bring the tab preview feature from Microsoft Edge legacy" as addressed. Are there plans to bring the persistent previews back as well? It's needed when looking through many open tabs and when using touch. Windows needs a browser which works well with touch, and Chromium Edge definitely does not.4.8KViews4likes0CommentsRe: Tab Preview - Discussion
Now that previews on hover are back, are there plans to bring the persistent previews back too? It's needed when looking through many open tabs and when using touch. Windows needs a browser which works well with touch, and Chromium Edge definitely does not.3.3KViews2likes0CommentsRe: Feature parity with Find on Page
I often would like the find on page to persist when switching tabs, but I have also found the current behavior where find on page is per tab useful sometimes. So I think the best solution would be to have a pin button to make it persist across tabs, but keep the current behavior if that's not selected.3.4KViews2likes0CommentsRe: Top Feedback Summary for June 15
MissyQ The tab previews show up on hover for me, but there is still no sign of a way to have a persistent preview of all tabs as in Edge Legacy. This is needed when looking through many open tabs and when using touch. Are you planning to add this too? Surface devices need a browser which works well with touch, which Edge Legacy was, but Chromium Edge isn't.5.2KViews2likes2Comments
