Re: Outlook on the Web - Mailbox Clean-up
Hi kazoo60 Once I have read all your question/ issues and I hardly believe that there is another solution. Retention Policy and Retention Tags - > https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/retention-policies can be applied to SPO, Teams, etc For example you can create Retention tag (Delete email after 2 years) and the end user can apply this to the targeted email(s) or you can create a Retention policy (which will contain retention tags you create), apply it from EXO directly to affected mailbox(es) But my recommendation is to set up some clear limits for Retention Tags or Retention Policy as no one wants emails to sudden disappear. If you have other question regarding Retention Tags/Policy please let me know. Hope this helps!1.7KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Mail enable a migrated security group in 365
Boe Dillard you need to reach the "Attribute Editor" Tab when you open an object in AD First you need to enable Advanced features view by selecting "View" option from top left corner of AD and select Advanced features, afterwards you need to reach the group by selecting it from the OU where it is based, not from search feature from AD, as Attribute editor tab is not appearing using search Once you open an object from OU you will notice a new tab called Attribute editor where you can see a lot of attributes, look for proxyAddresses and add SMTP:address@yourdomain.com , do not forget to add SMTP: -> primary email address Hope this helps!2.3KViews2likes1CommentRe: I shared my license with family member, but she lost her OneDrive
Hi HowardJ Please be aware that your shared your O365 account which facilitated the installation and activation of Office Apps on the other computer using your username and password. The other person can use OneDrive for business, just need to install it and input the email address which has OneDrive for Business enabled, but if this person will login to OneDrive for Business using your O365 account, that person will use/access your OneDrive account and its content, by this mean that you will both use same account, will see all files uploaded to that account, if a person deletes a files it will be deleted for both etc. The only way that the other person can have a separe OneDrive for Business is a license assigned with OneDrive for business plan enabled. Hope this helps!1.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Mail enable a migrated security group in 365
Hi Boe Dillard I did not find such an option in O365 GUI, but as workaround you can change from AD onprem the security group to Universal and then add the email to the email field and be sure to add SMTP:address@yourdomain.com to the proxyAddresses attribute. Afterwards run Start-ADSyncSyncCycle –PolicyType Delta in Powershell Or set the security group to universal Open Exchange management shell Execute Enable-DistributionGroup -Identity "GroupNameGoesHere" Run Start-ADSyncSyncCycle –PolicyType Delta in Powershell Hope this helps!2.3KViews0likes3CommentsRe: How can I set a employee login page to my company website which is created in wordpress?
Hi jabbarsh If you are using Azure Active Directory you can enable WordPress with it to enable SSO. You can achieve this goal by following https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/configure-password-single-sign-on-gallery-applications I just checked and WordPress is available in Application catalog of Azure AD, the requirement is to have an existing WordPress.com subscription. Hope this help!7.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Send email from different address?
Hi SimplyPutin As Crhis advised you need to use another smtp server. For example my primary email address is pavel@contoso.com but I have as alias pavel@domain.com, in order to use pavel@domain.com to send emails I have to add it as POP3 or IMAP account, link for documentation below, follow Step 3 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/hot/how-to-add-an-alias-to-an-office-365-account-and-how-to-set-up-outlook-to-send-email-messages-as-this-alias Hope this helps!2.7KViews0likes3CommentsRe: OnPremise archive mailbox not showing for Office 365 users
Hi MaximeViret Did the user check also OWA? Log in to your mailbox by using Outlook on the Web. Right-click your name in the folder list, and then click Add shared folder. In the Add shared folder dialog box, type the name of the mailbox that you have been provided access to, and then click Add. The primary mailbox and archive mailbox appear in Outlook in the web folder list. Hope this helps!5.7KViews1like1Comment
