https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=31064 The following list templates now have modern UI support: Issue Tracking, Contacts, Custom List in Datasheet View New and existing lists created using one of these templates will now appear in modern UI by default. Additionally, the native UI now supports multi-line text fields with the "Append Changes to Existing Text" setting enabled.
