Re: Dev channel update to 88.0.673.0 is live
josh_bodner Is there a change in "view-source:"? In Edge dev 88.0.673.0 (also in Beta, Canary and Chrome Canary), the source code is not wrapped while it is wrapped in Edge Stable 86.0.622.5. It is more convenient for me to view a wrapped source code. Can I have an option to get back Word Wrap in "view-source:"?4.5KViews1like2CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 86.0.594.1 is live
Eric_Lawrence Thanks for reporting! I understand the concern about privacy issue. I think that users should be able to select which language(s) can be preferred in InPrivate mode. For example, Edge can add a "Allow in InPrivate" checkbox in "More actions …" next to a language, just like Extensions.2.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 86.0.594.1 is live
josh_bodner Yes, Chrome Canary and Chrome Dev do the same thing. For a clear result, I changed Chrome UI to English (United States) in Settings and attached screenshots for your reference. You can see that the HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE field from Normal window returns Preferred Language, but in incognito mode returns UI Language. I also attached an example to show that websites cannot detect Preferred Language in incognito mode. Edge Stable (Edge 84) does not have this issue.2.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Dev channel update to 86.0.594.1 is live
josh_bodner Same issue with Chrome Dev 86.0.4221.3 One more thing is the below flag has been removed in Edge Dev and Canary that I think it is a great option: Assigns the shortcut Ctrl+K to Duplicate Tab By default, both Ctrl+E and Ctrl+K are the shortcuts for Focus Search. If enabled, Ctrl+K is assigned to Duplicate Tab. – Windows #edge-use-alternate-duplicate-tab-shortcut Is it moved to Settings or no longer available? I think it is worth to keep this flag.3.1KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 86.0.594.1 is live
josh_bodner The HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE header captured from InPrivate mode of Edge Dev 86.0.594.1 returns Displayed Language, not Preferred Language. The same header of a normal browsing window returns correctly (Preferred Language). It has been happened since Edge 85 and affects localization of some websites (such as Wikipedia).3.3KViews0likes10CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 83.0.467.0 is live
josh_bodner I triggered high CPU usage when I use this extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nordvpn-1-vpn-proxy-exten/fjoaledfpmneenckfbpdfhkmimnjocfa Not only this but one of the way I can reproduce. I've seen this issue even on new tab page. Sometimes closing one tab page with high CPU usage will get another tab page to become high CPU usage.14KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 80.0.361.5 is live

josh_bodner I do not have Canary so I don't know. I tried in Beta and it does not occur. I tried Guest Profile and a new Profile in Dev and the issue still occurs. I sent a Smiley Feedback with attachments and diagnostics and hope that it can help you. josh_bodner Hi, I found that after upgrading to Dev 78.0.249.1, the "Desktop Only" input methods are disabled and cannot be used, while previous builds and Beta 77.0.235.9 are able to use. The new Edge should be a Desktop application so that I can use them. Please fix it and thanks a lot!3.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Dev Update to 76.0.159.0 is live
Hi Elliot Kirk, https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Discussions/Dev-channel-update-to-75-0-139-4-is-live/m-p/550565/highlight/true#M3045 I cannot find the flag "Save Page as MHTML" in latest dev build 75.0.139.4. I could enable it in the previous build but this option is not available now when saving web pages in this dev build. Where can I enable it again? I think this is useful so I want to keep it in Edge. I updated to 76.0.159.0 today but still cannot save web pages as MHTML format. I hope that Edge will bring back this flag or directly as a option of saving web pages just like Internet Explorer.26KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 75.0.139.4 is live
