Re: how to enable MDE in security.microsoft.com - missing menu
Hi, the EMS E5 license does NOT contain a Defender for Endpoint license. The only license assigned to your user that contains a Defender for Endpoint license is the Windows Enterprise E3 license (which includes a MDE Plan 1 license). For resolving your error please try calling the following URL directly. https://security.microsoft.com/onboard_mtp This should lead you to the inital setup page.4.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: Defender for Endpoint noob questions...
olympusMons MEM still does not cover the same broad features as GPOs do. So you definitely do not miss out on features by not deploying via Intune, except the fact that you can actually onboard workgroup devices to your tenant and have them onboarded to MDE.2KViews0likes1CommentRe: Defender for Identity Sensor throwing seemingly internal errors
UPDATE: @Eli_Ofek I have not found the respective application using the ValueTuple.dll of version 4.0.2.0. However I renamed the .dll-File and no application is showing any issues. I will keep track of the applications. Thanks for helping me out on this one! Appreciate it! Best Felix2KViews1like0CommentsRe: Defender for Identity Sensor throwing seemingly internal errors
Hi EliOfek, I ran the suggested command on one of the malfunctioning DCs and compared it to a well-functioning one. Hey folks, today I installed MDI sensors on some Windows Server 2022 DCs with .NET 4.8 installed. All of the setups ran just fine, however two of the DCs threw the following errors. DirectoryServicesClient System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'System.Threading.Tasks.Task' DirectoryServicesResolver System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void Microsoft.Tri.Common.UpdateDirectoryServicesClientAccountIdsRequest..ctor Both of those errors made me scratch my head so hard my hair fell out. Maybe some of you guys have had this issue before. BR FelixSolved2.2KViews1like8Comments
