Re: Opening Links From Favorites?
Select Settings and more > Favorites In the Favorites window, right-click the Favorites bar . Select "Open all", or "Open all in new window" or "Open all in new InPrivate window You can also right click any link and open in a new tab or window, assuming that the site doesn't disable that option. Additionally you can hold the Ctrl key and then click the respective link to open it in a new tab. If you want to open the link on a new page, hold the Shift key and click the link. Bing search also has some settings that let you open search results in a new tab or window without affecting how other links operate. It's possible that the option to open favorites in a new tab is only available in Edge Canary. I'm not in front of my computer right now and I'm only using Canary at the moment.70Views0likes1CommentCan we get an a visual queue for Canary, Dev, & Beta near the profile button?
I'm using colors to separate Edge, Dev, Beta, & Canary but it would be sooooo much nicer if there was a visual indicator up by the profile button that also let us know at a glance which we're working in. It doesn't need to be fancy or big. Just a little peace of mind. Maybe make the profile buttons yellow, green & cyan, or even just the line around it. Or maybe color the home icon. Just anything to make it easier for absent minded old-school folks with ADD to know at a glance which one we're in. 🙂239Views0likes0CommentsRe: Introducing Workspaces in Edge | New feature
This is just fabulous considering how I work. What I see most useful is simply the ability to assign each workspace a color. It becomes much easier to separate multiple projects going on simultaneously. I did make a suggestion in the feedback tool that I'm hoping others will also do. With one of the major advantages being the ability to have a unique color for different workspaces, it drives me nuts that the taskbar doesn't also reflect the color change. The color allows me to more quickly identify the right session but I still have to click multiple places in the taskbar to find the right browser session I'm looking for. The colors simply make this process faster since I don't have to read anything to know I'm in the right session. To have either the entire taskbar button for a session the same color as chosen, or even just the icon reflecting the same color would be a home-run. But it seems to me that it's going in the right direction. I am now picturing a day when I can look at my taskbar and see yellow, green, blue, red, orange and violet and know that if I click green I'll be working on financial stuff, red I'll be working on customer facing things, yellow and I'll be working on code, and so on...and the days of clicking multiple browsers to find the one I need or just opening a new one because I don't feel like looking for it will be over.2.8KViews0likes0CommentsRight Click Send-to To Do
I am trying to make ToDo the center of my Getting Things Done plans. One thing that would make a major improvement would be the ability in Windows to right-click just about anything and add it as a To Do item. So that.... On a website and need to visit this page later right-click send-to ToDo see an image I want to use for something? right-click sent-to ToDo In Explorer, find a file I was looking for last week while looking for something else and don't have time to double-back but want to remember where it was? right-click send-to ToDo I can go on with countless ways this would benefit my life. And following this message I'm going to attempt a manual entry in the registry to see if I can accomplish it for myself. I suspect that I can, but it seems to me that it should just be there by default given the amount of garbage that already goes there automatically.1.4KViews6likes1CommentRe: TO DO - MY DAY - VIEW PREVIOUS DAYS LIST
If you go to PLANNED you will see EARLIER. Click that and you should see a list of incomplete items that had planned dates from past to present. Much better than having to go through a calendar month by month. Is this what you're looking for?40KViews0likes1Comment
