Comparison to PowerUsers Network

Why is this network so much harder to use than the PowerUsers Network that is also running on the Lithium platform? I find that the UI, navigation and functionality of the other network is much more intuitive and usable than this network. It appears that different templates and/o configuration options were used in each. Given that both of them are run by MS staff for MS customers these inconsistencies are puzzling.
