Arc Mouse interferes with Bluetooth headset

I'm using my Bose QC35II headset without missing a beat (pardon the pun) until I switch on my Arc Mouse (latest generation). Removing and re-adding the mouse and/or headset makes no difference. Tried another, much cheaper, Bluetooth mouse, and did not experience any problems either. The weakest link seems to be the Arc Mouse. Any thoughts on how I can remedy this issue before I take it back for a full refund?
