Friend JamesKehr, please pay attention to a very important detail, even though you are from the IT area, Analyst/Software Developer, but not from networks and communication protocols, until now I didn't understand why some strange things are happening with the SMB 1.0 protocol of my windows 11 enterprise as it happens that it doesn't work properly with my DUNE HD SOLO LITE 4K media player.
It happens that on Windows 10 Enterprise and Pro, it allows DUNE to access my windows network, via SMB 1.0, it only works with this protocol, authenticating the user/password on all my external HDs on my desktop on the network, however, by for some reason, two of my HD's connected to my desktop's USB with 1TB each, a TOSHIBA USB 2.0 and a SEAGATE USB 3.0, it doesn't authenticate the same and I can't access their information via SMB 1.0 network, I tried everything that you can imagine in terms of configuration, including the last one was changing the system from MBR to GPT, and still nothing.
The solution I have today for my problem is to have installed Windows 10 Pro in dual boot with my Windows 11 Enterprise, I know it's a Brazilian solution but it's the only one I have at the moment. Please note that I will need the SMB 1.0 protocol of Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise to be able to enjoy access from my DUNE to the HD's of my Windows 11 Enterprise via SMB 1.0.
Thank you in advance for all possible help and thank you very much for thinking of Windows users for the SMB 1.0 network protocol.
Druid®.
