Set Location Information Service in SFB Online
Hi,
We are running SFB Online, and we plan to set the location information automatically to display the current location to others in SFB client so that they know the user is either working from home or from different offices.
To our understanding, the changes can be applied through Set-CSLisSubnet cmdlet. However, when we tried it, the cmdlet didn't load. Is this Set-CSLisSubnet exclusively for SFB on-premise setup only?
Anyone has any idea if how we can set the location information automatically?
Thanks.
Hello Wan,
I don't see the feature available with the SFBO Services as the Cmdlet is still not available in the Skype for Business Online PowerShell. I would recommend you to kindly sumbit your request on the following feedabck link for the same.

Thanks for the inputs, as for now I can only suggest our users to set it by themselves.

hi, Did you find soluction for this, We require this for our users
Yes, the cmdlet is not available in SfB Online, but that's not the solution you are looking for, as it's not really applicable for Cloud environments. Instead, you can try doing it client-side via the method described here: http://blog.powershell.no/2013/08/08/automating-microsoft-lync-using-windows-powershell/
You will have to prepare a list of network locations and check the current IP address against it, then set the Location accordingly.
