SharePoint Online List - Reindex

Hello

In SharePoint Online List or Library , under Advanced Setting, there is button call Reindex List, which we will immediately re-index new contents and new records are available for search.

In case if we dont click on Reindex List, when it will re-index will from the back end? Is there any duration or any kind scheduled crawl?

yes, it is. It's a kind of continous crawl where your content is crawled all the time. It can take from 15 minutes to 1 hour to get the new content in. (it's not official)
