SharePoint 2016 Web Front End Search Error
I have a SharePoint 2016 farm with three servers: WFE/Distributed Cache, App/Search, & DB.
Search works perfectly whenever users connect to the SharePoint Portal Home using the App server name as URL, but when users use the WFE server name as URL, search returns "Error 500: System.ServiceModel.ServiceActivationException..."
