Is anyone aware of any guidance on how to add an SPFX webpart App to multiple sites in an automated way?

Thanks for that Robin. That post definitely helps with the initial deploy (to the App catalog).

After the webpart is deployed, it needs to be added (think Add an App such as Document Library etc..) to the site you want to use it on. I'm hoping to find a way to streamline the deployment of this across hundreds of sites.

That's a good question. I read about this issue a few days ago and it seems not to be possible automatically yet. As far as I know.
