Hello from the Project Team!  The February updates for Project for the web are as follows:

New Features

  • Extended Timeline Zoom ~ Get a more complete picture of your long-term project in the Timeline view by using 4 new zoom scale options.
  • Custom Working Calendars ~ Set your team’s custom work week directly in Project for the web.

Upcoming Features

  • Advanced Dependencies ~ Set non-default dependencies between tasks such as Start-to-Start, Finish-to-Finish and Start-to-Finish dependencies.
  • Assigned to Me ~ View and update project tasks assigned to you in the “Assigned to me” tab in Planner, Tasks in Teams, and To Do.

Version 2.0
  • Advanced dependencies were implemented but lead and lag times were not.
There's no sense on implementing dependencies other than FS without using lead and lag times.
Is there any plans to implement that?

  • How can I activate the extended timeline zoom? I only have 3 levels: months, weeks, days

At least Years would be a great addition

Hey Guys, will there be a baseline or due date feature added to P4W? If so, do you know when? Thanks!

Any updates on when the assignments will be viewable in the assigned to me section? Also, any plans on improving the roadmap feature? Its a great start but in practice its clunky and difficult to get to a place where it is useful. What would be better is the ability to build/view combined schedules which incorporates some or all of the tasks from different schedules, or at the very least be able to link tasks in your schedule to tasks in another schedule.
