Fill data from a barcode into a system

Question

Hi Everyone,&nbsp;&nbsp; I am working on a barcode scanner, our City ID has a barcode on it. My goal is to use the barcode scanner to scan this barcode and have it auto fill our information (Name, Rank and Badge Number) into the form we are completing. This would allow our department to fill forms much easier. Does anyone know if this is possible?&nbsp;Thanks!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi&nbsp;JKeyfayettevillear&nbsp;There are articles like&nbsp;https://www.inogic.com/blog/2019/05/working-with-barcode-scanner-in-powerapps/&nbsp;and also videos on YouTube about this topic to use mobile devices as barcode scanners.&nbsp;Search engine results for PowerApps barcode scanner&nbsp;I would suggest having a look and taking the bits that work for you to get this project off the ground.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hopefully that gives you some ideas.&nbsp;CheersDamien
