So without warning my Outlook showed this new slab of grey bar, removing lots of usable screen real estate. After clicking in many menus and searching online (why it's not just a right click on the bar itself is beyond me!) I've finally turned off the pointless addition.
I'm very concerned though that the advanced setting to switch it off says it is only temporary - abdias_ruiz can you please clarify if the app team have seen sense and are not going to mandate this? It's just totally wasted space on a desktop and I don't know about others but I've absolutely zero desire to run other apps from within Outlook - I don't even understand why a user would want to do so in the first place, the whole point of being on a Windows machine rather than a Chromebook is to have the ability to run and switch between multiple full applications with ease. Are Microsoft just trying to drive users away from Windows and make everything web-based?!
