WHY? One explanation that is being given "The location for accessing Outlook modules is being moved from the bottom to the left. The new location lets you find and use apps in addition to Outlook's core modules." - I already have a task bar that fulfills that need. Another is, " This update is a step towards a consistent experience across apps like Outlook, Teams, and Office.com." - What if I don't use or care about those other applications? I think MS is not thinking about its older user base, who have a harder time learning and adjusting to change. This change is for "a more consistent experience", not even a performance issue. I realize it is hard to please everyone, but this is a forced change with no easy way to undo the change (unless you are willing to try the Registry fix - not recommended for inexperienced users). I have been using Windows and Office since day 1 and think overall it is the best solution for me. Developers should consider their entire user base or maybe go back to Home and Professional versions. Web based email clients do not give me enough functionality, that is why I use Outlook 365 (not Outlook.com) for personal use. BTW - Having 2 products name Outlook is very confusing, especially when trouble shooting and searching for answers. Thanks for listening.
