Links generated are prompting login when it shouldnt

Anytime a link is generated following the stpes below, when using the link to view files, a login prompt pops up.  This shouldnt happen if it's set to login not required.  It's annoying and makes the platform look unprofessional, I cant use it with clients that arent tech savvy, this confuses them.

1) create a onedrive folder
2) put a doc in
3) generate a link to share - set to "anyone with the link can view" or "can edit" and "login not required"
4) open an incognito window, paste the link, hit enter
5) click on the document to view, close the doc, click it again, all within the onedrive page on your browser.

As this issue appears on various Microsoft boards already, it seems there is no solution as of yet, but I would love for OneDrive to take it seriously.  We're likely going to have to find another soltuion to use with clients because of this issue.
