GitHub certifications are an industry-endorsed approach to demonstrating proficiency with GitHub technologies. These certifications complement Microsoft’s existing role-based certifications, which validate knowledge of foundational DevOps and cloud development concepts. GitHub certifications are designed to validate technical expertise on applying these concepts with specific GitHub products. GitHub currently offers the following certifications:

1. GitHub Administration
2. GitHub Actions
3. GitHub Advanced Security
   
   

GitHub certifications are highly recommended for partners who plan to leverage GitHub as part of their customer’s digital transformation, modernizing web applications, or DevSecOps efforts. To highlight partners with these certifications on the market we will be integrating these certifications into DevOps with GitHub Advanced Specialization in FY23 Q3.These certifications are also recommended for App Innovation CSAs and CSAs specializing in DevOps.
