MSIX registry access

We do have a MSIX package which writes a log file under (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application) which need to be access to user to know the more about the errors to fix. 

We have tried registry fixup using following link https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/msix/proposal-for-registrylegacyfixups/m-p/1427153 but not successful. Please suggest on this issue.
