In the coming months, personal insights available in the flow of your work in Outlook with your daily briefing emailMyAnalytics digest email, and Insights Outlook add-in will receive updates to reflect the Microsoft Viva brand. Microsoft Viva - the employee experience platform that helps foster a culture where people and teams are empowered to be their best from anywhere – is a natural fit for these experiences that help you balance productivity and wellbeing day to day and improve over time.

The Briefing email – which surfaces important reminders from Cortana, your personal productivity assistant – will expand to also feature employee experience insights. It will be delivered in your inbox near the start of the day from Microsoft Viva going forward, connecting you to personal productivity and wellbeing insights, learning recommendations, and more to help you prepare for the day and week ahead.

Briefing email will soon come from Microsoft Viva

The MyAnalytics digest email – which surfaces important insights to help you understand and improve your work habits over time  – will be delivered in your inbox near the start of the month from Microsoft Viva and will have a new subject: “Your monthly digest” to reflect its new cadence and complement “Your daily briefing”.

Digest email will have a new monthly format

The Insights Outlook add-in – which offers actionable suggestions to help you stay on top of tasks and emails, strengthen your work relationships, plan time away from work, and achieve a better balance – will be retitled “Viva Insights” to complement the Viva Insights app in Microsoft Teams.

Additionally, a new Viva Insights homepage will be discoverable via the Microsoft 365 app launcher on Office.com in place of MyAnalytics. This will surface key data-driven, privacy-protected insights initially from MyAnalytics, and over time, from Workplace Analytics as well, to give individuals, managers, and organization leaders access to personalized, role-based recommendations at a glance.

This whole thing is disturbing and absolutely disgusting.  This is THE reason I use my own personal laptop for work.  My copy of Windows and Office 2013 have had all this "telemetry" (i.e. spyware), including Cortana and Edge, bloatware, and forced automatic updates manually stripped out of their respective installations.  I only use my work laptop to rarely access intranet resources, and the odd teams meeting.  I refuse to store any of my files in OneDrive.  I do not log into my corporate Microsoft 365 account.  If im not actively using Teams for an actual meeting, my work laptop is disconnected from my home network with my microphone and camera disabled (I have my camera disabled in the BIOS.)  Or better yet, completely shut down.

When we return to office, I will no longer be using teams for anything, including meetings, and even my microphone will be disabled in the BIOS.

Hello Malavika Rewari , We would love to customize the daily briefing to include events on our SharePoint Company Events calendar. Is extensibility coming to this product?
