Now in public preview: Call Merge

We’re pleased to announce the Call Merge feature in the Microsoft Teams calls app.  Using this feature, you can merge calls together.  You can use this feature when you’re already on a call with someone (or a group)  and you need to ask someone else a question, then draw them into the first conversation.  Or you might see an incoming call while you’re already on a call, and want to talk to both parties at once.

You’ll find the Call merge option in the More actions menu as  Call merge

There’s more info on this feature here:  Merge calls in Teams - Office Support (

Flighting status

Available to everyone in Public Preview.

How to enable

Public Preview customers will not need to take any action to enable this feature.  The feature will appear in the More actions menu as  Call merge

when needed:  either (a) when you’ve placed a new call while already on a call, or (b) when a new call comes in while you’re already on a call.

Supported clients and platforms

@Jin Chen Thanks for the report. So are you not seeing Call Merge in the "..." menu when you are already in a Teams call and another call comes in? Also, did you double check that you selected "Public Preview"? Sorry for these type of questions, just wanted to be sure, and thanks again!
