Using Stream to host videos
Can I use Stream on Sharepoint to host videos for our customer facing website? Are there any good reasons why I should/shouldn't, or why it would be better to go with a traditional video hosting service (YouTube or Wistia)?
- That depends on if you are talking about an Extranet where you are using B2B to give the customers access or if you are talking about a public facing website that wouldn't be on SharePoint. If you are talking about an Extranet where all of your customers have an account to get access to a SharePoint site - it will work just fine. If you are storing the files in SharePoint and you want to use an embed code on a public facing website on another platform - they will not work.
