Purview Preview
Do we know if Purview supports previews of Video files (eg MP4, WBEM etc) Look's like you have to download the results of a content search to be able to view.. Would be good if these could be played in Purview using the Stream Player..
boardman411 - Purview eDiscovery Premium supports previewing of files including video files found in your case. See this part of our Ignite video where there is a quick demo at 15:50: https://youtu.be/nCOGbjeOfcs?t=950
It doesn't show you the transcript yet but that's being worked on by the eDiscovery team.

- boardman411Copper ContributorThanks @MarcMroz exactly what I was looking for..
- securityxpert1122Copper ContributorThats helpful. A quick question, can we apply labels/restrictions on mp4 files so that only certain people can have access to it?

securityxpert1122 Do you mean sensitivity labels? We don’t support sensitivity labels on video files today. We are working on a longer term project with SharePoint, Purview, and MIP to add support for MP4 files first. It’s a massive project but we are making progress on it. I don’t have timeline to share.
The way we are planning it to work is that if you mark the label for encryption we’ll just block the download of those labeled MP4s, as full encryption of videos with an offline player was too big of scope.
